In 2011, our founder watched a client lose $340,000 on a wheel loader that had been rebuilt with substandard components. The seller's photos looked professional, the price seemed fair, and the handshake felt genuine. But the machine failed within 90 days. That loss was preventable with better engineering data.
As we grew, we realized that buyers also faced a discoverability problem. A logistics company shouldn't have to sift through agricultural tractors to find a sleeper truck. We made the strategic decision to fragment our front-end presence into highly specialized vertical markets like Top Truck Market and Top Ag Market, while unifying the back-end infrastructure.
